The Stanford Cardinal cross country team sent three runners to the CoSIDA Academic All-American list as Fiona O’Keeffe earned a spot on the women’s first team, headlining the list.
O’Keeffe is a senior Earth systems major and finished first in the Pac-12 Championships earlier this year. She helped lead Stanford to their first conference title in nearly a decade. The Cardinal finished third in the country behind O’Keeffe’s strong performances this year.
Fellow women’s cross country runner Ella Donaghu also was named an Academic All-American, landing on the women’s third team. She finished second behind O’Keeffe in the Pac-12 championships and is a senior human biology major.
