Stanford opens Pac-12 play on Saturday at USC, and there’s a feel-good story brewing for the Trojans.
Jake Olson, a blind long snapper, has been cleared by the NCAA to join the football team as a walk-on and practiced for the first time Tuesday.

Olson lost sight in both eyes as a child due to a rare form of cancer in the retina, but that didn’t stop him from playing varsity football and golf.
