The Stanford Cardinal men’s water polo team got a bit more dangerous this weekend when head coach John Vargas announced six newcomers to the team.
“We are excited to welcome a talented group of scholar athletes to our institution and program,” said Vargas. “I’m really proud of this class and I am looking forward to watching them grow and prosper with our team and the greater Stanford community in ways beyond water polo.”
Vargas announced the following athletes who will be joining the men’s water polo team:
Soren Jensen (Orinda): Back-to-back NCS Championship appearances and the 2019 NorCal State Champions with Campolindo High School.
