Pac-12 teams combined to play 69 true freshmen in the first week of the season, led by 13 from USC.

The Trojans, which hauled in the country's No. 3-ranked class, also topped the list last year when they played 11 of the 75 true freshmen who featured for Pac-12 teams in Week 1.
