The Stanford Cardinal class of 2021 got another commitment, their fifth of this circuit, and officially ended their near two-month dry spell when three-star safety Mitch Leigber committed to David Shaw and Co. on July 18.
Leigber is the fifth commitment and the first since May 28 for Stanford. He also represents the third safety committed for the class of 2021 and the fourth defensive back.
He joins three-star Josh Moore, three-star Caleb Ellis at safety and three-star cornerback Jimmy Wyrick in the secondary.
Leigber stands at 6’1, 205 and is the 43rd-ranked player in the state of California by 247Sports.
