Stanford picked up a commitment from 4-star defensive end Joshua Pakola on Thursday.
The St. Francis (Mountain View) product committed on his Twitter page:
Pakola is 6-3, 270 pounds, and is rated by the 247 Sports composite as the #25 player in California and #187 player in the nation.
UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Arizona, Cal, Georgia, Oregon, Washington and others all extended scholarship offers to Pakola.
Pakola is the third Bay Area native to commit to this year’s class, joining Tristan Sinclair from Danville’s San Ramon Valley and running back Austin Jones from Oakland’s Bishop O’Dowd.
