Top Yankees prospect Gleyber Torres will make his much-anticipated debut on Sunday. The 21-year-old was officially brought up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre; he is slotted into the eighth spot in manager Aaron Boone's lineup card and will man second base for New York's matchup against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees optioned infielder Tyler Wade to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and also brought up right-hander David Hale from Triple-A and designated utility man Jace Peterson for assignment.
