Guilmet, 30, has been one of the most reliable relievers for Class AAA Memphis. In 21 appearances he has a 0.93 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 29 innings. This doesn't have to be a short-term stay for Guilmet, given the fact that the Cardinals opted to keep lefty Austin Gomber on the active roster.
