I am very much in favor of the St. Louis Cardinals bringing Adam Wainwright back in 2019 and possibly beyond. I haven’t always been a huge fan of Waino and even wrote a few pieces predicting the end of his career.
Then… Wainwright returned at the end of 2018 and showed that he was embracing the pitcher he had become rather than the pitcher he once was. I wrote about him as the season expired. Check the link below for more on my appreciation of his time off and the approach change he had upon his return.
