The first time these two teams faced each other back in July the Los Angeles Dodgers were one of the best teams in the league and the Cardinals were... well they were doing alright. Not much has changed since then for the Dodgers — they are still one of, if not the, best teams in the league. They have clinched the National League West division title and with a record of 104-46 have nearly secured having the best record in MLB. The Cardinals have made some improvements and lead the NL Central by 7.5 games over the Brewers.
