According to the St. Louis Cardinals media team, Thursday’s home opener will be postponed to Friday, April 5th, at 3:15 PM CT. This change has been made due to weather concerns for Thursday afternoon. Gates will open at noon. Opening Day festivities will start at 2:30, so it is the same start time that Thursday would’ve had.
Cardinals legends Jason Isringhausen and Matt Morris will throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Cardinals and for the first time ever, all living members of the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame will be in attendance and honored for Opening Day ceremonies.
