The St. Louis Cardinals officially announced that the time of Carson Kelly has arrived. Fans have been honking that the time is nigh and it seems the front office has finally decided to listen. In the wake, however, the St. Louis Cardinals had to clear space and make room which spelled the end of Eric Fryer.
I was a fan of Fryer and I’m not sorry about that. Was he the best option for backup? Maybe not but he was a marked improvement over Brayan Pena who had served the role in 2015-2016.
