“I’ve been seeing this since the first day of spring training,” Shildt said. “Actually his offseason and then getting in daily with the group you saw a guy truly committed to being the best version of himself. He’s enjoying it and taking every aspect of the game serious and working on it. Now he’s got his timing down and he’s enjoying the game.”
