Reyes has control lapse, then allows homer as Padres forge ahead of Cards 5-2

Alex Reyes, who has had control problems this spring while being tested out of the bullpen, walked the first two men to face him in the seventh inning of a tie game at Busch Stadium. He then threw a wild pitch, allowed a sacrifice fly and subsequently a two-run homer to Fernando Tatis Jr., as the San Diego Padres put together a three-run inning to take a 5-2 lead in the home opener for the Cardinals.

Reyes has walked five hitters and allowed five runs in three relief innings this season after missing virtually all the previous two seasons with two arm surgeries.
