MILWAUKEE -- After 15 months recovering from Tommy John surgery, Alex Reyes' return to the big league mound ended abruptly and in an inauspicious way.
Concern over Reyes' health added to a 3-2 loss to the Brewers on Wednesday, when the Cardinals dropped the finale of an important intradivison series at Miller Park. Tasked with holding a one-run lead in the seventh, Tyler Lyons allowed a game-tying homer to Christian Yelich before Orlando Arcia drove in the game-winning run with a single off Sam Tuivalala. That erased a two-run comeback the Cardinals mounted off Jeremy Jeffress a half-inning prior.
