This season the Cardinals and MLB have been celebrating 70 years of Red in baseball through social media with the #LoveRed2 hashtag. Baseball fans all over have sent in well wishes via video, pictures and stories. For me it hit home when I realized that Red made his major league debut the same year my dad was born. In fact, when Red made his debut on April 17, 1945, my dad wasn’t even born yet.
