Players donate $1 million to minor leaguers as Manfred meets with Clark

While commissioner Rob Manfred and Tony Clark, executive director of the players’ association, are meeting face to face for a second day in Arizona, according to sources, the Major League Baseball Players Trust on Wednesday announced it will commit $1 million to help support minor leaguers unable to play this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
