Pena hard on himself after first start for Cardinals

Leaving the dugout after Thursday night's loss, Brayan Pena made a stop to watch some video before retiring to the Cardinals' clubhouse.

The first clip Pena wanted to review was the errant throw he sailed into left field in the first inning, allowing Whit Merrifield to score Kansas City's first run.

Making his first start for the Cardinals after a long stint on the disabled list, the reserve catcher had an idea what he might find. It was a little bit of the same thing he saw when he reviewed his at-bats moments later.

"I saw that I was rushing," he said.
