Dexter Fowler was eager to experience the pageantry of opening night as a Cardinal at Busch Stadium on Sunday . He was excited to see the Clydesdales head out for their trot around the warning track before Hall of Famers started their parade toward home plate.
Fowler spent last season making history with the Cubs, building a legacy by helping them win their first World Series title in 108 years. Then on Sunday night he began to feel the warmth of the Best Fans in Baseball.
“It’s awesome to be a part of both (organizations),” Fowler said.
