JUPITER, Fla.—Infielder Brad Miller has been in high demand the past two years, spending time in the Tampa Bay, Milwaukee, Dodgers, Cleveland, Yankees and Philadelphia organizations before signing a $2 million deal with the Cardinals on Wednesday. One thing in common is that all those organizations either contended for the playoffs (Philadelphia) or were in them in the past two seasons, as Miller, who signed as a free agent with several of those clubs, wanted to be with a winner.
