ST. LOUIS • In a week, Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak will head to the Dominican Republic to be present at a milestone for the organization.
As part of a scheduled trip to the Dominican to attend the first graduation at the Cardinals' new academy, Mozeliak also intends to visit with left fielder Marcell Ozuna. The Cardinals' outfielder and cleanup hitter has decided to remain at his home in DR as he continues his rehab from shoulder surgery and strengthening program for the season. Mozeliak said it would be ideal if Ozuna had shifted his work to Jupiter, Fla.
