PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla—With a day off after the Cardinals’ first exhibition game, manager Oliver Marmol is employing virtually the same lineup and batting order for Game 2 as he did in Friday's opener. The only exception when the Cardinals meet the New York Mets here Sunday is that Edmundo Sosa will bat eighth and be the designated hitter instead of Lars Nootbaar.
The others, in order, are Tommy Edman, Paul Goldschmidt, Tyler O’Neill, Nolan Arenado, Dylan Carlson, Harrison Bader, Paul DeJong and catcher Andrew Knizner, who will hit ninth behind Sosa. Miles Mikolas, who has missed much time in the past two seasons with arm problems and surgeries, will make his first spring training start in more than two years for the Cardinals.
