ST. LOUIS • One of the best players in the history of the organization who happened to have his best years when the team wasn’t at its best, Ray Lankford will join the Cardinals elites later this summer thanks to the overwhelming support of the fans.
Lankford and Vince Coleman headline the Cardinals Hall of Fame Class of 2018, and they will be joined in induction later this year by pitcher Harry “The Cat” Brecheen. Lankford and Coleman were the two top vote-getters in the fan balloting that each year elects two new members to the Hall of Fame.
