John Morris still cherishes his time with Herzog and the Cardinals

A first-round draft pick by the Kansas City Royals, John Morris, who became a backup outfielder for the Cardinals, was uncanny at how he delightfully impersonated the mannerisms and batting stances of teammates Willie McGee, Tom Herr and Jack Clark and even branched out to Los Angeles Dodgers World Series hero Kirk Gibson.
