Fox's Joe Buck has done play-by-play at the highest level in sportscasting for more than a quarter century. And now he is about to call games of an entirely different kind, this time talking directly to the competitors as well as the audience.
He will be the host next week on "Jeopardy!," the venerable nationally syndicated TV quiz show that airs locally at 4:30 p.m. weekdays on KSDK (Channel 5). The St. Louisan is the last of the 16 people to fill in this season for Alex Trebek, who died in November after anchoring the program for nearly four decades.
