Former Cardinals All-Stars Ryan Ludwick and Jason Isringhausen have joined the Cardinals' minor league field staff, the organization announced Thursday in its annual reveal of the minor league staff and player development assignments for the upcoming season.
Ludwick will serve as minor league hitting instructor. Isringhausen is the minor league pitching instructor along with Randy Niemann, who has moved into a minor league pitching instructor role. Steve Turco is now a minor league roving instructor.
The Cardinals retained the managers for their seven minor league affiliates, but named six new pitching coaches and seven new hitting coaches.
