“I find it concerning,” said Mozeliak,”that with a week left in camp, both are injured doing a similar drill. That’s something that, of course, will be looked at. Injuries happen but you certainly want to have a clear idea why you’re doing something, so we’ll have an internal look at it. But there are other players who came out of it perfectly fine.”
Maddux said, “We love Jack. It’s not how we wanted it. It’s not how he wanted it. But it’s a credit to the organization to have that type of depth. To think that you’re going to start with five (starters) and end with the same five is overly optimistic.
