For those who are expecting a quick, magical solution to such issues as common economic ground for the baseball owners and players ... this is going to take a while.

Rob Manfred and his Major League Baseball group met electronically Tuesday with players’ association chief Tony Clark and there will be more meetings over the course of the next couple of weeks as the two sides attempt to get the game back on the field in early July.
