So this got me thinking. I asked on Twitter: “Do you have a story of which you missed a big game or sports moment because you were at a wedding or party or event?”
(I myself missed Game 7 of the 2004 NLCS because I was covering Hornets-Magic. Preseason. In Biloxi. And in college, I taped Game 1 of Cards-Mets playoffs to study, but accidentally bought a VHS tape that was only an hour long.
