The silliness began Sunday when John Brebbia walked in and media member Jeff Jones playfully played “Cry Me A River” by Justin Timberlake on his phone.
The previous day, the Cardinals reliever Brebbia made news when asked on the Cardinals Caravan to respond to Kris Bryant's comments. The Cubs' Bryant said St. Louis is “so boring,” and Brebbia replied in jest: “Cry me a river, loser.”
Brebbia's quote become a silly battle cry for Cardinals Nation online, especially when catcher Yadier Molina tweeted passionate thoughts on Bryant, as well.
On Sunday, Brebbia was back in St.
