JUPITER, Fla. • Once he was free and clear of the Helter Skelter room on Thursday's team-building jaunt to an escape room-themed building, Marco Gonzales got back to figuring out the box he's in this spring.
Cleared to throw but not yet pitch, Gonzales had another round of 30 pitches in a revved-up bullpen session. He split the work into two 15-minute rounds, and each came with greater intensity than a similar bullpen a few days ago. Almost 12 months removed from Tommy John surgery, Gonzales is part of camp, participating in camp, but just slightly behind most of camp.
