Game blog: Molina's hit caps Cards' winning rally

PHOENIX • Lance Lynn threw four double-play balls for the Cardinals, who messed up two others with wild throws by second baseman Greg Garcia.

Lynn, on the other hand, messed up a sacrifice situation that cut short a promising rally. But former Scottsdale high school star Peter Bourjos advanced a flying Garcia two bases on a sacrifice bunt that was converted.

That latter success led to a three-run seventh inning for the Cardinals, who held their 3 1/2 game lead in the National League Eastern Division with a 5-3 triumph over the suddenly torrid Arizona Diamondbacks.
