Game Blog: Broxton's record-setting blast off Wacha ties game

After the Cardinals got on the board with two runs in the bottom of the first, the Brewers wasted no time in tying things back up.

Keon Broxton did so in style.

Cardinals pitcher Michale Wacha made quick work of the first five batters he faced, but with two outs in the top of the second, he walked Brewers catcher Jett Bandy. Broxton then mashed the first pitch he saw an estimated 489 feet to left-center. That is the longest home run ever hit at Busch Stadium III.

Wacha then struck out Orlando Arcia to end the inning.
