Memphis put together a three-run seventh, but it was too little and too late.
Round Rock took an early 1-0 lead in the first, made it 4-0 in the third, and 5-0 in the fourth. Edmundo Sosa hit a three-run home run in the top of the seventh to cut it to 5-3, but Memphis couldn’t get anything else going.
Jake Woodford (4-5) threw five innings and gave up five runs, six hits, five walks, and struck out four.
