Earlier this week The Ringer published an article about some scouting reports. This article is a bit different from past ones of its kind, however. As the story goes, Ben Lindbergh mentioned wanting to look at scouting reports and a former Reds front office member obliged, sending him nearly “60,000 reports on pro players across all organizations filed from 1991 to 2003 and more than 13,000 reports on amateur players filed from 1998 to 2003”. It is an incredible treasure. Through the week The Ringer has been releasing its analysis from these reports.
