Left-handed reliever Brett Cecil has agreed to a deal with the St. Louis Cardinals, sources told Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan on Saturday.
The club has not yet confirmed the deal, which is pending a physical and, per Passan, is for four years and could exceed $30 million.
Cecil, 30, has pitched eight seasons in the Major Leagues, all with the Blue Jays. He went 1-7 with a 3.93 ERA in 36 2/3 innings for Toronto in 2016.
