Cardinals' Reyes apologizes for marijuana use

Top Cardinals pitching prospect Alex Reyes opened his Winter Warm-Up media session by expressing regret over his 50-game drug suspension.

"I apologize to the organization, my friends, my family for testing positive for marijuana down in the fall league," he said. "I'm honestly disappointed in myself. It was a huge mistake. It's something I'm learning about, learning how to get past it. It's been tough dealing with the problems and everything, but looking forward to next season, just putting this behind me and turning the chapter on this."

Reyes, 21, is one of the top pitching prospects in professional baseball.
