Wainwright was scheduled to start for the Cardinals on Tuesday against the Mets. Luke Weaver will likely make that start. The Cardinals are off on Monday, so they have some room to maneuver in the rotation.
Brebbia was optioned to Memphis on April 19 and gained a save that night with 1 2/3 scoreless innings and four strikeouts in the Redbirds 2-1 win at Omaha.
