Infielder Greg Garcia has done a little of everything for the Cardinals this year. He’s started at third base, shortstop and second base. He’s been two for five as a pinch hitter, raising his lifetime pinch hitting mark to .345.
But he hasn’t scored a run.
Of the 18 Cardinals who have come to bat this season, 15 of them have scored at least one run and two of those who haven’t are pitchers Carlos Martinez and Lance Lynn, who haven’t even reached base. Garcia has been on base 13 times via eight hits, four walks and one hit by pitch.
