The last time a healthy Jaime Garcia was on a pitching mound in postseason action, it was the third inning of perhaps the most famous playoff game in Cardinals history. Game 6 against the Texas Rangers in the 2011 World Series. That’s right. I don’t count the 2012 NLDS game against the Washington Nationals. He was pitching with a loose wheel. A bum left shoulder that wasn’t done barking.

Flash forward to October 27th, 2011, when Garcia pitched three innings, allowed two earned runs on three hits and saw Tony La Russa make a quick pull.
