Cardinals drop fourth straight, fall to Cubs 6-3

The Cardinals didn't get a longer start from Carlos Martinez to keep the pressure off its bullpen and the bullpen didn't respond to the four innings it was asked to get as the Cardinals lost to the Cubs 6-3 on Saturday night at Busch Stadium.

After Martinez went just five innings, Sam Tuivailala gave up a run in the seventh and Jordan Hicks gave up his first home run of the season, a two-run blast to right by Jason Heyward making his first start in St. Louis since he suffered a concussion chasing Dexter Fowler's walkoff home run on May 6.
