The Mother's Day message on the whiteboard in the Cardinals' clubhouse reads: "Call Yo Mama."
Manager Mike Matheny didn't put it there. But he approves.
"We all just get into the every day, sometimes Groundhog Day of what we do," Matheny said. "You don't know what day of the week it is, let alone the day of the month, or if it's a holiday. So, it's nice to see guys making sure they need to slow down and acknowledge Mom today."

The Cardinals (16-15) have shed their red and will have pink from head to toe in their series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates (16-14) this afternoon at Busch Stadium.
