The wait is over for Stephen Piscotty.
As Rob Rains reported per a source, the Cardinals will call up the 24-year old ahead of Tuesday night’s opening two-game set against the Chicago White Sox. The young outfielder will likely be coming up to man first base.
Piscotty has started several games at first base in Triple-A Memphis the last week or so, and it seems John Mozeliak and company finally decided it’s time to give their top-hitting prospect a crack at The Show.
