I get why Ken Hitchcock pulled goalie Brian Elliott after the San Jose Sharks scored three goals on 14 shots Thursday night.
And I would understand if the Blues coach sticks with Jake Allen for Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.
If there is any chance Allen sparks a team that seems to be sinking, why not?
But Elliott isn't the issue. And Allen isn't the answer.
Hitchcock said he will sleep on his goalie decision. Here's hoping he didn't spend more than five minutes on the matter. His team has much bigger concerns — like everything taking place in front of Elliott and/or Allen.
