All-Star voting: Molina leads; Cubs top every infield position

Cardinals players largely were ignored in the first release of National League voting for the All-Star Game.

Yadier Molina leads the catchers, but no other Cardinal is in the top five except for Matt Carpenter, who is fourth among third basemen. Molina has 517,825 votes to lead San Francisco's Buster Posey and Chicago's Miguel Montero.

All the Chicago Cubs starting infielders — first baseman Anthony Rizzo, second baseman Ben Zobrist, shortstop Addison Russell and third baseman Kris Bryant — are leading at their respective positions. Rizzo, who is batting .236, tops all NL players in votes received with more than 874,000.
