Zach Sanford avoids arbitration, signs two year contract

Zach Sanford filed for salary arbitration on Friday, and managed to avoid it today. The Blues just released news that Sanford has agreed to a two year deal at $1.5 million a season. Sanford’s previous contract, according to CapFriendly.com, saw him at $875,000 a season.

During the regular season Sanford had eight goals and 12 assists in 60 games played, and only played eight games in the postseason. He was re-inserted in the Blues’ line-up during game three of the Stanley Cup Final while Oskar Sundqvist was suspended, and he never came out.
