The St. Louis Blues have been Stanley Cup Champions for one year, three months, and fifteen days as of the time of this writing. The Tampa Bay Lightning almost claimed that mantle last night, but they were thwarted by Corey Perry in the second overtime. The Dallas Stars Stars have a chance on Monday night to lengthen the Blues’ exhibit at the Hockey Hall of Fame for a little bit, but our time with the Cup will officially conclude this week.
