T.J. Oshie might be gone from the St. Louis Blues roster, but if you’re anything like me, you’re still keeping tabs on him in the media. Even if he doesn’t sport a Blue Note on his sweater, he’s still an enthusiastic, hardworking player who can do some pretty things with a puck.

According to NHL.com correspondent Katie Brown, Oshie was taken by the Capitals because they think he’s one of the missing pieces when it comes to a real Cup run.
While Oshie hasn’t thrived in the postseason in St. Louis, it’s possible that things are run differently enough in Washington that he’d be more useful than a Congressman when a bill is up for a vote.
