The NHL has released the complete 56 game schedules for all of their teams, and the most common things that fans are saying about them is “that’s a baseball schedule!”
It’s tight - the season starts for the Blues on the road against the Colorado Avalanche on January 13th, and the regular season doesn’t end until May 8th against the Vegas Golden Knights. The speed of the schedule - especially in February, where the Blues have 14 games in 28 days - is as though the All-Star Game and the Winter Olympics were both happening during the same season.
