Sydor, Tkaczuk Join Wolves Coaching Staff

Sydor, 44, has spent the last five seasons as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Wild. The Wild posted a 188-143-45 regular season record during his tenure, while they earned Stanley Cup Playoff berths each of the last four years. Sydor began his coaching career with the AHL’s Houston Aeros in 2010-11.

Prior to becoming a coach, the Edmonton, Alberta, native enjoyed a 19-year NHL career that included All-Star Game appearances in 1998 and 1999. Sydor accumulated 98 goals and 409 assists in 1,291 career regular season games between stints with Los Angles, Dallas, Columbus, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh and St.
